Dear Parents,
I would like to welcome your child into my class. I hope you all had a well rested and exciting summer and everyone is ready to begin a great school year. I am looking forward to a very exciting and productive year in which you and I will work together to help your child. The first few days I will be going over our classroom rules and procedures with the children and what I expect from them.
There are some things that you can do to help this year run smoothly for all of us. Please be aware that your child needs to be in school by 8:15 am so that they can be prepared to start the day. Please make sure that you check your child’s homework folder and agenda daily. The agenda will be one of our forms of communication throughout the year. I will be sending notes and attaching important information to it. Please make sure to initial your child’s agenda nightly.
If you wish to speak to me or schedule a conference at anytime during the year, please call the school office (954) 721-8902 and leave a message, send a note in your child’s agenda or email me at dlewis1stgrade@aol.com. I will return calls within 24 hours. I am looking forward to working with your child. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and support.
